Center Leader
AMSURG
Endoscopy Center of the South Bay is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in gastroenterology. We believe in compassionate medicine, where patients feel reassured and unrushed. Our experienced, board-certified physicians have dedicated themselves to caring for their neighbors in the Torrance community. Patients are frequently seen for colorectal cancer screening and problems involving the digestive tract.
We are currently searching for a full-time Center Leader to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: coordinating and directing activities of the center according to accepted standards, managing the fiscal activities of the center, working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, or Charge Nurse (as required) to oversee the supervision and direction of nursing care and patient scheduling. The Center Leader is responsible for management of all aspects of personnel, education of personnel, and administrative duties. They work closely with the Governor’s Board and center staff in coordinating patient and staff service functions.
Regular and reliable attendance required.
A successful candidate will pass a background check and drug screen.
The professional background should include a Bachelors degree with at least three years of leadership experience. A CA RN license and experience is required. Professional experience should include proficiency in operational efficiency, budgeting, governing board and medical staff facilitation, team building, quality and risk management and regulatory compliance.
