Does This Affect Your ASC?

As part of CASA's ongoing monitoring of healthcare labor law, we're sending this update following the July 1, 2026, increase in the healthcare worker minimum wage under SB 525. This is the second scheduled increase since the law's phased rollout began in October 2024, raising the rate for most independent ASCs from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. We wanted to make sure members have clear, current guidance now that this rate is in effect — particularly given how often this law's dates and tiers have shifted since it was first enacted.
