Registered Nurse Manager - Multi-Specialty ASC

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to lead clinical operations in our multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. This role is responsible for overseeing daily nursing functions, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent clinical judgment, organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily clinical operations of the ambulatory surgery center
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and patient care
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
Coordinate staffing schedules and manage workflow to meet patient volume and acuity
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and administrative teams to ensure efficient case flow
Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and risk management initiatives
Participate in policy development and process improvement efforts
Support staff education, onboarding, and ongoing training

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center or perioperative setting
Strong knowledge of surgical workflows, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
BLS and ACLS certifications required
