Director of Nursing

Spanish Hills Surgery Center

Spanish Hills Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to run our multi-specialty surgery center.

We are looking for an exceptional leader who can oversee the clinical operations at our busy facility. The role requires a strong clinical background, operational experience and the ability to effectively manage staff and oversee the flow of the operating rooms in addition to the preop and recovery room.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing and clinical support staff.
Ensure delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.
Maintain compliance with AAAHC and CMS regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators and anesthesia providers to optimize safety and patient outcomes.
Manage the infection control, risk management and safety programs.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and executive leadership.

Qualifications:

Licensed RN in California
Minimum of three years operating room experience
Prior experience in a managerial role
Prefer someone with knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation process
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
