The Director, Clinical Operations is responsible for the overall organization, direction, and oversight of care delivery, care planning, hospital and partner relationships, and the achievement of key performance metrics within a defined geographic region or service line. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple outpatient sites within the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

In this capacity, the Director provides leadership for daily operations, clinical workflows, and standardized processes across all assigned locations. Responsibilities include the management of operational programs and services, financial performance, and staff leadership, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively to support both clinical excellence and operational efficiency. The Director is accountable for driving performance in key areas such as quality outcomes, patient safety, patient experience, and operational metrics.

Serving as a key liaison, the Director collaborates closely with local hospital leadership, medical staff, ancillary departments, and interdisciplinary teams to promote seamless care coordination and strong partnerships. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, ensuring that care delivery models are responsive to patient needs and aligned with best practices.

The Director works in close partnership with the broader operational leadership team to optimize clinical operations, enhance care delivery models, and ensure the consistent application of evidence-based practices across specialties and programs. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new models of care, as well as the expansion of services, specialties, procedures, and new practice sites.

Ultimately, the Director, Clinical Operations is responsible for fostering a culture of quality, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring excellence across the entire continuum of care.
