Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center (MPSC) is seeking an experienced Clinical Director to provide leadership for our perioperative services and help foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.

The Clinical Director provides clinical and operational oversight for the Operating Room, PACU, and perioperative services. This leader partners with physicians and administrative leadership to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care while mentoring and developing clinical staff. The ideal candidate is a collaborative nurse leader with strong OR and PACU experience who is passionate about employee engagement, quality improvement, and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support OR, PACU, and perioperative teams.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with AAAHC, CMS, state regulations, and organizational standards.
Partner with physicians and leadership to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Oversee quality improvement, patient safety, staffing, and resource planning.
Build positive relationships through visible, approachable leadership.

Qualifications:

Current California RN license (BSN preferred).
Minimum five years of progressive supervisory or management experience.
Recent clinical experience in both Operating Room and PACU.
Strong knowledge of perioperative operations, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $185,000–$220,000 annually.
