Newsweek partnered with global research firm Statista for the 2023 edition of its "America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers," which ranks 510 of the more than 5,000 Medicare-certified ASCs in the country. The ASCs were evaluated on quality of care, performance data and peer recommendations relative to in-state competition, and how well facilities were responding to the threat of COVID-19. 85 California ASCs were recognized, most of which are CASA members. Cedar Sinai 90210 Surgery Medical Center of Beverly Hills was not only the highest-ranking ASC in California, but also received the incredible distinction of being the Best ASC in the country with a score of 95.5%. Benita Tapia, Administrator of 90210 Surgery Center relayed, “This accomplishment is such an honor. We have an incredible team that focuses on working together to provide the best possible care and outcomes. I’m so proud of them.”
