DWC has issued a new administrative order updating the Hospital Outpatient Department and Ambulatory Surgical Center fee schedule to reflect additional July 2026 Medicare payment changes.
We’ve updated the CASA Workers’ Comp Calculator to reflect these changes, and the newest version is now posted in the Members Only section of the CASA website.
The updated DWC fees apply to services rendered on or after July 1, 2026.

CMS has proposed several changes to the CY 2027 ASC Payment System, including a significant expansion of the ASC Covered Procedures List and changes to ASC quality reporting. CMS is also proposing a 2.4% ASC payment update for 2027.
For ASCQR, CMS proposes removing the Appropriate Follow-Up Interval for Normal Colonoscopy in Average Risk Patients measure beginning with the CY 2027 reporting period. CMS is also seeking feedback on potentially stratifying the All-Cause Hospital Transfer/Admission measure by phase of care.
CASA is reviewing the proposed rule and will continue to advocate for policies that support access to safe, high-quality care in the ASC setting.
