Clinical Nursing Director

Regional Hand Center of Central California

We are seeking a Clinical Nursing Director/Administrator to join our team in overseeing the operations of our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). As the Clinical Nursing Director/Administrator, you will oversee the clinical and nursing care, ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, develop and revise policies, manage compliance programs, staffing plans and time schedules to optimize patient care delivery, all while serving as a proactive advocate for patient safety and wellbeing.

The role involves more than just supporting the facility's philosophy, goals, and objectives. It's about being part of a meaningful mission and contributing to its success. You'll be directing and supervising activities, ensuring efficient management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining physical property and equipment. It also develops and implements policies and procedures for cost-effective, safe, and high-quality care. The role also manages business affairs, including internal controls, cash management, and maintenance contracts. It also maintains excellent physician and partner relationships, employs strategic thinking, manages compliance, risk management, infection control, employee health, recruitment/retention, and case management. The role also oversees credentialing, job descriptions, orientation, and in-service education programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum (3) years direct Operating Room RN experience; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center surgical setting.
  • Minimum (2) years clinical supervisory experience.
  • Active CA RN license
  • Valid BCLS and ACLS Certification upon employment. ***online certification not acceptable.
