ASC Administrator
Advanced Eye Surgery Center
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ASC Administrator to plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of our ambulatory surgery center. This position is critical to achieving both clinical and business office goals and ensuring high-quality patient care in a compliant, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner.
The ideal candidate for this role will either have ASC leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership experience with ASC exposure. You will have the pleasure of working with a well-established & high-functioning team, Monday-Thursday (10-hr days/exempt), without Fridays, holidays, or weekends.
Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative/management experience in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, email, and time management software.

- Strong knowledge of procedural coding, insurance and managed care guidelines.
- Familiar with medical office operations and confidentiality protocols.
Essential Responsibilities Fiscal Management:
- Monitor and analyze financial variances, manage AR/AP, and ensure cash flow.
- Prepare audits, financial reports, and implement cost-control strategies.
Business & Office Administration:
- Oversee office operations, staffing, receivables management, and IT systems implementation.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical, medical staff, and governing bodies.
Clinical Management:
- Ensure facility licensing/accreditation compliance.
- Develop clinical goals and contribute to quality improvement and risk management.
Facility Operations:
- Lead process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate across departments, manage deadlines, and maintain clear internal communications.
Staff Development:
- Recruit, orient, coach, and develop staff.
- Encourage a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance work culture.
Commitment to Quality:
- Engage in continuous quality improvement and performance evaluations.
- Report incidents and ensure compliance with mandated safety and abuse protocols.
