Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at a high-performing Orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Manhattan Beach, California.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven nursing leader who is passionate about surgical excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, coordination, and management of nursing services and multidisciplinary activities across the ASC. This role ensures a safe environment for patients undergoing surgical intervention while maintaining regulatory compliance, clinical quality, operational efficiency, and a positive culture for staff and patients alike.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
- Current RN (Registered Nurse) licensure in the State of California.
- Current certification in BLS.
- ACLS required.
- PALS, if applicable.
- RN Circulating experience required
- At least two years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse preferred.
- Has a thorough working knowledge of aseptic technique and its application.
- Full command of the English language, both verbal and written.
