Director of Nursing
Pacific Surgery Center of Ventura
Pacific Surgery Center of Ventura is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Director of Nursing to lead the clinical operations of our multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center.
This leadership role is ideal for an experienced nursing professional with a strong background in perioperative services, staff management, and surgical center operations. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical functions, supporting staff performance, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the operating rooms, pre-operative area, and recovery unit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise nursing personnel and clinical support teams across the facility
- Promote the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards
- Work closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to support patient safety and positive surgical outcomes
- Oversee infection prevention initiatives, risk management activities, and facility safety programs
- Act as a key point of communication between clinical departments and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- At least three years of operating room experience preferred
- Previous leadership or management experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and regulatory survey processes strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
