The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued the following Health Alert
Medline Warehouse Fire Incident May Result in Critical Supply Shortage

Situation Overview CDPH and EMSA are actively monitoring the Medline Warehouse Fire Incident that occurred on June 11th, 2026 in San Joaquin County and maintaining close coordination with local health departments, healthcare coalitions, and emergency response partners. At this time, situational awareness is ongoing, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available. All partners will be promptly notified if the situation changes or if additional actions are required. Potential Impacts to Healthcare Facilities should assess operational readiness and ensure continuity plans can be activated if conditions escalate. Healthcare providers are advised to report any immediate or sustained impacts from this incident to their Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator including resource requests, significantly increased demands on medical and public health assets, or impacts to the ability to provide clinical care. Recommended Actions for Healthcare Facilities and EMS Providers Identify alternative suppliers to support immediate needs, and submit resource requests through the MHOAC for items that cannot be sourced internally. The state will continue to monitor, coordinate, and share situational updates as information evolves. CASA will continue to monitor for our Los Angeles County ASCs. |
