Director of Nursing
Spanish Hills Surgery Center
Spanish Hills Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to run our multi-specialty surgery center.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who can oversee the clinical operations at our busy facility. The role requires a strong clinical background, operational experience and the ability to effectively manage staff and oversee the flow of the operating rooms in addition to the preop and recovery room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing and clinical support staff.
- Ensure delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with AAAHC and CMS regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators and anesthesia providers to optimize safety and patient outcomes.
- Manage the infection control, risk management and safety programs.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Licensed RN in California
- Minimum of three years operating room experience
- Prior experience in a managerial role
- Prefer someone with knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
